A glance, not a habit
The number sits where your eyes already are. No unlocking, no app, no getting pulled into the feed.
4:00 to 20:00
Pre-market, the session and after-hours, refreshed as often as every 15 seconds, with a countdown to the next bell.
Stocks, ETFs, crypto
Any ticker symbol. Change it from your phone whenever you like — the panel picks it up by itself.
Plug in, done
Set up Wi-Fi from your phone once, then it updates itself with signed releases. Nothing to maintain.
Green day or red day — you know before you read a digit.
Everything sits in the same place, every time. After a day you stop reading it and just see it.
The whole panel takes the day's colour — ticker, move and chart — so you know how it's going from across the room.
The price is drawn twice as tall as anything else, with the day's high and low beside it. Your eye lands on it first.
The intraday chart against yesterday's close, filling in as the day goes. One look tells you the shape of the session.
From the first pre-market trade to the last after-hours one.
Deskcast follows US stocks from 4:00 to 20:00 New York time. The chart fills in as the day goes, so you always know where in the session you are.
Before the open
Pre-market prices from 4:00, marked with a small sun, and a countdown to the opening bell.
During the session
Live through the day, with a countdown to the close always in the header.
After the close
Earnings drop at 16:05? It keeps going until 20:00, marked with a moon, so the move doesn’t wait for morning.
Plug it in once. It looks after itself.
One-time setup
It brings up its own Wi-Fi network. Join it from your phone, choose your network, and it remembers. No app to install. Change the ticker any time from deskcast.app.
Updates over the air
New firmware is published as a signed release. The panel installs it by itself and comes back where it left off. A bad update is refused or rolled back automatically.
Back on its own
After a power cut or a Wi-Fi drop it reconnects by itself and keeps the last price on screen until fresh data arrives. It never needs setting up again.

Good to know
What can it show?
Any stock, ETF or crypto ticker — NVDA, VOO, BTC-USD and so on. You pick it in your Deskcast account and the panel switches by itself. It shows one ticker at a time.
How big is it?
The display is 256 × 128 mm, about the footprint of a hardcover book: small enough to sit beside your monitor. The price and the green or red read from about 40 cm to 4 m.
How live is the price?
You choose how often it refreshes, from every 15 seconds up to once an hour. It follows pre-market and after-hours too, marked with a small sun or moon.
Do I need an app?
No. The panel opens its own Wi-Fi network for setup; join it from your phone, pick your home network, done. Settings live on deskcast.app.
How much will it cost, and when does it ship?
Price and dates aren’t final yet. The waitlist hears first, and everyone on it gets a founding-member discount code when orders open.
What happens to my email?
It’s used for one thing: telling you when Deskcast is ready to order, with your discount code. It’s never sold or shared, and you can leave the list at any time.
Is this financial advice?
No. Deskcast shows market data for information only. Prices may be delayed and aren’t a basis for trading decisions.
Is it Deskcast or Desk Cast?
Same thing. It’s written as one word, Deskcast: the market, cast to your desk.
Put the number you check most where you can see it.
Join the waitlist and you’ll hear the moment Deskcast is ready to order, before anyone else, with a founding-member discount code for your first unit.
