Terms of service

The rules for using deskcast.app and a Deskcast account. Last updated 6 October 2026.

Who we are

deskcast.app is run by Ivan Duhov. Contact: [email protected]. Details are in the legal notice.

The site and the waitlist

Deskcast is not on sale yet. Joining the waitlist is free, creates no obligation to buy, and nothing on this site is an offer to sell. Terms of sale will be published before Deskcast can be ordered.

Your account

  • You need an account to pair a Deskcast and manage its settings.
  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Give a real email address, and keep it up to date.
  • You can delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. What we keep until then is described in the privacy policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break, probe or overload the site, the API or the device update service;
  • use someone else’s account or pair a device that isn’t yours;
  • use the service to break the law or someone else’s rights.

We may suspend an account that does, and will tell you why.

Market data

Prices and other market data shown on the site or on a Deskcast come from third parties. They may be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and are shown for information only. Nothing here or on the device is investment advice, and you should not trade on it.

Changes to the service

Deskcast is an independent project in development. Features, specifications and the service itself may change, and we may stop offering parts of it. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will say so on this page and update the date above.

Liability

The site and account service are provided as they are, without promises that they will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using the market data or from the service being unavailable. This does not limit anything that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer and liability for intent or gross negligence.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Bulgaria. If you are a consumer in the EU, you keep the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in its courts.
